Meet Our Team

To be successful in our mission, we needed a well-balanced team that shared the same philosophy and vision.

Dave Lumsden

I am passionate about the Philippines and its people.  I lived as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the central part of the country for almost three years.  I integrated into society, learned the local dialect, and embraced its culture. That experience forged an understanding and bond that has been unbroken to this day.  When I returned to the US, I attained a graduate certificate in Counseling from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, and worked for the Department of Human Services.

Recently I came to a point where I looked back on my life and asked “Is there some way of combining my drive to help the citizens of the Philippines, and my desire to allow others to see the country through to prism of someone who lives there?”  I answered that question by combining them into one.  This project is called Eco Siquijor.
